    A vampire today is one that shines in the sunlight, and has feelings for humans, while vampires long ago were terrifying, merciless blood craving lunatics. I miss those vampires.

    It funny if you look at the orginal folk vampires they are actually more like zombies then vampires in the modern sense.

    Same here! The times I don't check is when I eat sushi, but while I'm eating my sushi I think... there could be maggots in the meat!

    These are the only style of vampires I consider true. Any other are either based on these two types or just garbage. Plus Kiefer Sutherland is hot, the "Buffy" vampire. Which is an OK vampire when done right.

    Wasn't daybreakers an attempt to capture a modern day vampire? It wasn't half bad, but it took the fun out of there being only a select few vampires in the world. instead they went and globalized the vampire race.

    I think it's one big plan to sabotage the genre. Make a vampire movie that points out all the holes and is so bad it's awful, so no one will watch them ever again.
