    Carmilla. Hands down. Other than that... My favorite vampire is Eric from the Sookie Stackhouse book series, or Lestat from the Anne Rice book series.

    Agreed. Screw the whole fricken Twilight crap and all that other bullshit. Back in the day, when people heard the word vampire, they thought of blood, fangs, pale dudes in capes and Dracula. Now they think of "Edward" "Jasper" "Hot pale men" and friggin love stories with vampires. Jeez, almost all of my old buds I knew way back in the day read vampire books now and ever since they've read them, they have changed severally. They no longer wear bright happy colors or white. Some wear chains, spikes, died their hair black, cut their selves, act like they have fangs (they're 15 for crying out loud!), think their a vampire, and supposedly only like their men dead, cold and pale. o.0
