Default Scott Pilgrim vs the world

I watched it earlier today, and it was interesting. Sort of.

The story overall wasn't bad, but I don't think it was anything special. The special effects (and especially the game related effects) were pretty good though.

I'd watch again, but only if I did have ta pay for it, and provided there wasn't something more interesting.

I've been waiting to see this movie for a good while now, I just never had the time to actually go to the theater.

Of course, the rest of my family thinks I only like weird movies since they saw the unusual special effects in the trailers.

Hmm... interesting. But it sounds like it should have been a TV show instead.

I feel bad that I want to see this movie, because I feel like Michael Cera fucks up every movie he's in.

I saw it and fucking LOVED it.

Maybe because I loved how true they stayed to the comic book?

Anywayy, I love Michael Cera, He was great in Zombieland.

His mild-mannered style kind of makes me laugh.

    Eh, idk...

Somehow I feel like cera was the reason I was slightly confused for the first 30 minutes of the movie.

    Bwuh?

That aside, I saw it. It references the book quite a bit, which is cool, but from what everyone said, I went in expecting a movie that was identical to the book. So I was disappointed in that aspect. Otherwise, good movie.

movie is a bunch of stylistic experimentation by the great director edgar wright.

but, i'd rather suggest watching Shaun of the dead though, since it excells in acting, hilarity, story telling, direction, and emotion flawlessly.

Almost barely. The only real connection I see is that they're both chronically awkward.

    i mean their appearance.

anyway, as an actor, Cera sucks. plain and simple.

he is awkward, unbelievably quiet and boring, and he is only good when everything around him is trying to make him seem interesting. he tries way too hard at times, and he feels unnatural.

I lesbian this movie. I watched it yesterday with a good friend of mine and we both had a blast.

I want to watch it again next weekend.

Read the comics before it got popular, liked it better than Cowboy bebop which takes ALOT to win me over

Saw the movie, loved it and they got almost everything spot on

    Bought the game 2 days ago;

The band that did the music (Anamanaguchi) make it feel like I was playing megaman 2 again

Graphics are 16bit which made me feel young again (the gameplay is similar to the arcade TMNT) plus it has ALOT of game references from sonic (there's a cheat where you can make the coins into little animals, sound familiar?) to Zelda (theres a triforce on the trash ben and you have to get a key out of the stone thats placed in forest like Zelda and a stone that the key is in has hyrulin on it)

And it's based off the comics and not the movie which I'm glad about because then it's doesn't have the "the movie, the game" curse.

Overall it's one the best 10 bucks you can pay (even better than a 10 dollar hooker)
