Pokemon 2007 U.S. Regionals
PokemonUSA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card games, today announced the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) Regional Championships. Regional Championships provide TCG players the opportunity to earn a Travel Award to play in the U.S. Pokemon TCG National Championships in Columbus, Ohio, on July 7th and 8th. Pokemon TCG tournaments and leagues test a player’s Pokemon TCG skills, strategy, and creativity, and the Pokemon TCG National Championships is open to all participants.

Competitors are divided into three divisions: Junior Division (born in 1996 or later), Senior Division (born in 1992, 1993, 1994, or 1995), and Masters Division (born in 1991 or earlier). First-place winners in each division receive a Regional Championships trophy, a Travel Award to the 2007 Pokemon TCG National Championships, and a scholarship of $1500, along with a cool Pokemon prize kit. Second-place winners receive a scholarship award of $1000, a Regional Championships trophy, and 36 Pokemon booster packs, while third- and fourth-place winners receive a scholarship award of $750, a Regional Championships trophy, and 36 Pokemon booster packs. Prizes are awarded to the top sixteen players in each division, and all prizes include Pokemon TCG expansion booster packs.
