Actually nintendo has released information about their pokemon ideas. They've made over 1000 pokemon ideas and we've only seen about 400.

I sure hope that they're better...for nintendo's sake. If they want to continue the pokemon franchise, it has to be a bit more than the old formula, gym leaders, pokedex, lv100 and elite four.
