Well, my favourite has always been purple.
But if you're looking for the "best", I would go with black. Or white because it contains all the other colours. But then, for sheer colour, red and blue are good too.

Personal preference would be pink, but logically I would go for blue. The colour of the sky and the sea (the colour of nature) and an almost universal representation of peace.
light green is quite a calming colour. orange is a rather hyper colour. i like both.
I prefer pink.

If I had to choose it would be an up beat color like an orange or yellow, because well there represent awesome fun stuff where the dark color don't. So I think pink!

Yellow causes anxiety.
Red causes obliviousness.
Blue causes loss of appetite.
