Is there something we can do about them? Just wondering...
Maybe start using visual confirmation on the registration?

I hope they go away.
I banned 7 accounts today. Obviously the same person/bot.
I don't think I can do it. Perhaps Tim can.
They don't speak English.
And I told a specific bot 5 accounts ago to stop.
just add a captcha to the registration

Add a CAPTCHA or something. Blacklist their emails (they probably use the same domain). Try using moderated registration. Then just ban the few that get through.

Heres a plan.
Like no one goes on pokedream anymore and signs up. So it should be easy just to have them register but not be able to do anything until God or someone else blocks there account after emailing them not just a confirmation thing but a conversation with them (easy stuff like whats your favorite color) if they actually answer good and don't spam god there real.

I vote Captcha. I've been getting more ads with this upgrade too...

Been perma banning a few too. Some of them even have avatars. XD
I'm against moderated registration. Some pokemon that come here for the pokemon content may not bother logging in a second time if they need to wait to post. Captcha is better.
The problem is CAPTCHAs are on for everything (registration, search). We even have email verification on. This means that these aren't bots: these are real people.

Real people set them up, then turn 'em loose?

Pokemon post on these now too?
That's weird. Do they have any common email? Perhaps if you blacklisted that email or something...
Or real people register, make a post, and leave. Or develop a bot to read the CAPTCHA's. I remember /b/ made one of those for a raid a while ago on the TIME website.
