Ok so when will POKEMON say its enough and throw in the towel. They have to be the most selling handheld rpg in history. I mean seriously 5 generations of pokemon I'm not mad, but just a little faustrated.

I think if they have one more generation after this, I'm going to throw in the towel. I mean honestly, I'm going on 23 years old and I still LOVE Pokemon like I did when I was 11, but I think it's time they sit back and bask in the glow of a generation of success. I'm down for more spin-offs, like Ranger and Mystery Dungeon, but I don't think I could handle another Generation...

Hmm... another Generation might not be bad if they did more with it... It seems like the Storyline for BlacknWhite will be more evolved... that's a good thing. Personally I'd like to see a generation where the differences in the two versions were more pronounced... Same Region... mostly same pokemon... but with different storylines... perhaps even antagonistic... let's say they did... Pokemon Shadow, and Pokemon Light... if you played using the Light version your character would be more of a traditional good guy... and if you played Shadow you'd be a little more on the villainous side... IN effect having two different games...

Yeah. There's so much suggestion fodder on the internet that are actually good. Like Qoorl's suggestion, getting pokemon to take a slightly more mature edge (It doesn't mean gore, maybe having the protagonist as a 23 year old or something) etc. There's even a lot of ideas for spin-offs, like a game based entirely on a pokemon battle school.
I'm not sick of pokemon, but I do wish that they'll stop using the same tired old formula of 10 year old -> Journey -> Meet and defeat bad guys -> Defeat Elite 4 and become a master -> Capture all legendaries.
It gets old. I'm at the point where I like the pokemon and original fan-ideas (Heck, Pokemorphs etc have so much potential already) and not the game itself.
WEll.. it looks like the Protagonist in BlacknWhite will be older than the previous games' characters... that's a start at least.
I like Pokemon just how it is. I don't hope they throw in the towel anytime soon. They still have a lot of remakes they can do still. In a couple years they can make a New Unova remake. I think it would be cool if they made new worlds like they did Unova. Pokemon will never die in my mind. There are endless possibilities.
