Interesting. I like the techno-like background on the first two. Did you draw all these with a mouse??
no. the effect was custom made by using a pixel tool in flash. each pixel was put in a simple grid pattern i came up with. i simply made the alpha value (opacy) lower, and copied and pasted in place. then i moved each copy in sequence behind one another, but overlapping in one part of each pixel.

i drew every pokemon with an old "wacom 3" tablet.
i did use mouse assisted elements for shading accuracy, and the pixel backgrounds, but all the drawing was done with a tablet
