If Chess Had Pokemon Competitive Pokemon Battle Like Rules
All sorts of crazy shit would happen.
First off e4 and d4 would be banned for being over used and overcentralizing the metagame.
The queen would be banned easily. And there would be a queen metagame where all the bichops and knights and rooks where replaced with all queens.
Also there would be a UU metagame with all pawns and a king.
Draws would be made illegal and a macth would be decided on whom ever had to sleep first.
There would be constant flame wars debating if rocks are uber or not in the OU metagame being over used once the Queen in banned. But in the Uber metagame would be a piece of shit.

Many would debate that rooks aren't the problem but CASTLEING if you ban castleing then the rooks would not be so much as an issue and stall teams shall not be a problem any more.
En passant would also be "tested" for being dangerous to the metagame. Allowing losing teams to use some crazy move to stop some end game quick pawn movements to win.

Yes but every team must have a king. No so with shedinja.

yeah, but the king is not offensive until it needs to be, and so it is with shed.
if you get stuck in a corner with shed or the king, your fucked

No some lines have the King perposely move to the corner to be more defensive.
