Default Has Obama kept his promises?

This article was on the main page of Yahoo, and I happened to read it as soon as I came online. I'm just wondering what PD's general opinion is.

The unemployment rate was 8.2 percent in February 2009, when Obama first addressed Congress. It hit double digits by that October and was 9.4 percent at last report. While the administration is quick to point out that 1.1 million jobs were created last year, there are 2.8 million fewer jobs now than when Obama took office.

Housing is a particular sore spot. Foreclosures hit a record 1 million in 2010, and this year's figures are likely to be worse.
    Think Obama failed to deliver?

he hasn't done all he could. he's far too conservative and and too afraid of conflict. but then again he IS black. any policy of his to the left of augusto pinochet will be decried as socialist invasion by the right and the fact that he is black will allow the idea of him conducting a sort of outside invasion on american values will be easy to sell to the dim witted american people.

the stimulus was too small and not directed in the right way. too much of it was tax cuts, it should have been primarily technological and infrastructure investments and immediate job programs. of course it was better than nothing but that's not a great compliment.

healthcare was a debacle. the problem with america is that the system is too mixed. he is only encouraging the mixed-ness of the system. the only option for a sane health care system is one that is entirely universal.

so everything he did was an improvement upon what was before it, but none of it went far enough. some of it isnt his fault because the fact that he's a black man named barack obama is a HUGE political hurdle but he's still a big pussy and too centrist. he shouldn't be afraid of conflict because it's actually what he does best.

obama actually reminds me a lot of some of the interim governments of france and germany from the early/mid 1800s to post-WW2, where they were so desperate to not make enemies of the left or the right that they ended up not doing enough for either of them and failed because both ended up hating them.
