Default Diamond/Pearl for those of us in UK/Western Europe

I was just on amazon.co.uk and they say that D/P won't be released in the UK until June 30, 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there is anybody here from Western Europe, just thought you'd like to know...

But you can pre-order it from the site

why not just order it from the us site? I hardly think there'll be much difference.

I've never really understood why they don't release games in english in the english speaking countries all at the same time. Instead for europe they have to translate it into every single goddamn language and THEN release it in england. and poor australia doesn't get it until even later.

then again I don't live in england so it doesn't matter that much to me as long as I get my game.

I would also recommend not using more than one smiley in a post.

    Okie Dokie...sorry...

But if I did order it from a US site it would end up costing me double (tax, p+p etc.)...bugger.
    May as well wait....sniff
But you can tell me how great it is when you get it...hee hee

For future reference, I'm a Brit so this does have relevance to my lifestyle. There's other Brits too, but not like Eve would really care.

    But I already knew that.

    Walrus -

It's a EUROPEAN release conducted by the European Nintendo shipping industry. To release the game in the UK, the game has to be first translated into all European languages and that takes ages, then it can be released and marketed in all countries in Europe at similar times.

If we all lived in Japan we'd all be playing it right now.

    We should all learn Japanese!
How many languages can you speak?
I speak English, Irish and I have basic German. How hard is Japanese?
Hmm, and then I could watch the un-dubbed Pokemon series which is reputedly better.

That depends on your native language.

For instance, if your native language is English, then it is harder to learn it than, lets say, korean.

I'm taking Japanese in High School next year, but this girl can help you.
