New thread, since Kirby's seems to have degenerated.
What do you think of it? Democracy is sweeping across an undemocratic part of the world, and no authoritarian dictator can sleep at night who believes he's acting in the best interests of his country. Colonel Gaddafi of Libya has lost control of a good portion of the state, the longest-serving non-royal leader currently in power. Tunisia and Egypt have lost their repressive dictators, and wages are going up. All started by Mohammed Bouazizi's self-immolation, and faciliated by social network sites.
It's quite a fantastic affair. Reason to like Facebook and Twitter, perhaps.
I think it's quite awesome.
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed."
