his family life was so tragic though. of course he died in a plane crash to his last tour at only the age of 30, but afterward his son was diagnosed with a brain tumor that made him blind, and his wife started touring as a singer to support them, but then got tumors in her throat which made her unable to sing.

She was gorgeous back in the day though. And Jewish. As a matter of fact he turned Jewish for her. He grew up in Upper Darby, you know that? I think he went to college in Villanova too. Crazyy.

yeah, that makes me love him even more. he's a perfect folk singer but he's not some SOUTHERN TRASH, he's a philly boy.
