They pay their dues, they are forgiven, and they are free to sin again.
It's a lot more difficult to have no one to forgive you for your transgressions but yourself, and your peers. If you accept that there is no big father figure in the sky watching you and loving you, it can be a lot lonelier and darker especially if you have already lost your parents. It takes a lot more courage to face the world on your own, without the strength that prayer can lend, without the hope of a bright afterlife, with the full knowledge that this is it. There won't be eternity with your loved ones. This is all there is.
keke, its called lack of personal spirituality. most catholics have their understanding of higher powers diluted by the beliefs of the pseudo-political powers above them.

Catholocism has a lot more ceremony to it than most Protestants. It's a fancier religion. Well it used too... One thing I can't stand abotu some practitioners of my religion is the recent trend in building MASSIVE, gaudy, hi tech churches... we're there to humble ourselves and worship our savior... it should be something more introspective... not Six Flags Over Jesus

That's everyone but the Christians GB. Catholics, Protestants, and Mormons believe that Christ is the savior. Muslims believe that he was a prophet and the Jews... I'm not sure what they believe these days. Solly can we get a ruling on that?
