In actuality, to answer the question posed in the title of this thread, I think I would have to say Washington State because of it's very mild and wonderful climate. It is never very cold and never very hot either.
Other than that, avoid the Bible Belt and you should be okay.![]()
You'd probably having an easier time acclimating to the east coast culture of the united states if you were thinking of traveling the u.s Hicky, you're pretty british, so try massachusetts or new york.
What's the difference in culture then?

People are people, wherever they are.
But this isn't exactly "culture", it's more like "outlook on life".

Oh God, no sociology for me. One of the worst aspects of history is sociology. It really shouldn't be discussed with any form on finite facts. It really is just a persons philosophy and ideologies of what is "self" and "identity". It should really be kept in an philosophical forum of intellectual thought and no where else.
I don't care about it either. It's actually a subject we're supposed to take with History, Economics and something else, but I've never taken any classes related to these after tenth grade.

Well that's good, women who avidly enjoy sociology tend to be the WORST type of match for me. It's not because they are "smart", it's the area of their "expertise." It's a very conniving subject for even more conniving people.
Why haven't you taken history past 10th grade? India thing?
You can't have History and other so called "Art" subjects if you decide to take up science. I felt terrible about it, because I'd topped my History exam with like 96% or something.
Still, I wanted Computer Science, and History only comes with a "pack" of Geography,Sociology,Economics,Political Science and Psychology.

Also, a Science student can very well get into higher education in such subjects but once you go down that route, you can never take science again, unless you're willing to repeat years.

No it's all conjectural abstracts of philosophical concepts on identity that is taken as truth rather than theories. I'm not going to waste my limited time on earth studying such theories when it's littered with individuals who don't recognize this. It's more of a science in that respect and I am not a scientist nor do I ever wish to be.
