what's sad about this system, especially in quebec, is how fucking grannies completely rape the whole concept of it by going to the hospital EVERY FUCKING TIME THEY COUGH. as a result hospital waiting rooms are completely flooded, they waste everyone's time, and drains billions out of the government's pockets which could be used to fund expansion of existing hospitals, or formation of more doctors and nurses because as of now we're absolutely screwed. then these old ladies bitch on the radio and send e-mails (i'm still surprised they can do that) to biased news programs who claim that the 200M$ the government is spending on a new amphitheater in my city could've been injected into the health system instead. except it wouldn't change anything because 200M$ compared to the provincial health budget is like a drop of water in the ocean.
