Does anyone here appreciate jazz at all? I was listening to some for my AP Music Theory, and I really want to get into it now. Anyone got any suggestions on good jazz? Maybe some big band, or a little bebop?

I'd put Stevie Wonder in more of a R&B category, or maybe Soul.
I mean big band style jazz.

i don't like jazz, but jazz drummers are awesome
i have to find that drumfight between gadd weckl & colaiuta. ridiculous
jazz is great. jazz drumming is incredible. theres nothing to rock drumming but jazz takes a shitload of skill and sounds pretty damn awesome.
yeah i've learned with time that even the most kickass chops aren't that tough to do, but the control jazz drumming requires is insanely hard to master

Only thing I can can say besides Tank is Gun's & Roses by Paradise Lunch (Baccano opening). I can't really consider ''Paraiso" to be full-out jazz. Or I might just be confused. I'll find some more.
