is it just me or have you people noticed, when walking around, that people are generally dumb. i mean, it's like they're ants doing things... kinda routinely. i dunno what i mean exactly, but some people just... they seem like they're just going through life without a thought about it. and sometimes i feel like am aware of other, what they think, and how we're all really connected in some way.

Being smart has nothing to do being "in the rut". You could be severely mentally handicapped but strut down the street with a smile. Likewise you could be an engineering genius but go to your place of employment every day with a hazed look.

Every year I go through a mental change, and then I look back as say, "Boy I was stupid then!" Every year. And now I see this repeating cycle and I say "Boy I was stupid." And then next year I'll do it again. So what I'm saying is that I'm really stupid.
Everyone does that. Literally everyone of substance. Except really stupid people who don't improve at all, and who do not realize that they are stupid.
When I was in college I thought I knew everything. Now I realize I know practically nothing at all, in the grander scheme of things. It is only through realizing your own deficiencies that you can hope to progress and grow. Maybe by the time I've lived as long again as I have already then I will finally know something.

Why do girls walk in packs? I've never understood this.
And to make it increasingly annoying, these packs always seem to block the school hallways between classes. So I usually shove my way through these girls and they look at me like I was the one causing trouble. It's a hallway, not a driveway.
And apparently there was a study done that when people shop at a familiar store, they go into a trace-like state because they know what to expect and aren't adventurous with their shopping. Routine is bad for your brain.
Ugh- I hate this. It's like they aren't substantial unless they're part of a herd.

what i hate more than the whole pack thing is when people gather infront of doors in public places. or rather, random people gather in high traffic areas like door ways or stairwells and just talk while people try to go around them.
