So long as we're talking about human mentality.
Every year I go through a mental change, and then I look back as say, "Boy I was stupid then!" Every year. And now I see this repeating cycle and I say "Boy I was stupid." And then next year I'll do it again. So what I'm saying is that I'm really stupid.

Everyone does that. Literally everyone of substance. Except really stupid people who don't improve at all, and who do not realize that they are stupid.

When I was in college I thought I knew everything. Now I realize I know practically nothing at all, in the grander scheme of things. It is only through realizing your own deficiencies that you can hope to progress and grow. Maybe by the time I've lived as long again as I have already then I will finally know something.

theres nothing wrong with walking with friends in the hall.......

Nothing wrong at all with that.

It's just that typically people who are walking together are having conversations together and having these conversations automatically makes the group walk slower.
Then what people tend to do is walk in a single row, blocking most of the hallway. And/or will stop at an intersection or in front of a doorway because they need to say goodbye to their friends or finish a story before they part.

Slow walking is more of pet peeve of mine than the door/hall blocking though.
