    Yall are wimps, I have eaten hotdogs that fell in the fire with ashes all over them. A quick rinse in water and, you have your self a fine hot dog.

    The ashes are clean. There aren't very many bacteria that will grow in ashes.

    Food debris however...

    The debris on that stove, floor and surrounding area (like the front of the cabinet there) are not burnt. They are breeding grounds for DEATH SLIME. and other horrible bacterium.
