    Default PD can have its own Pokemon Oline Server Easy

    All the information is right there link to discussion and everything. It looks actually simple to. Only catch is someone would need to be willing to have there computer on 24/7 ir atleast for a magoirty of the day. I currently can not do that and am bad with computers.

    Any volunteers?

    The servers run on Java code, which I believe has scripting support on Macs.

    yeah... I tried that already Ed. My post is "in process mode" of doing just that, but it didn't work. However, I could use my virtual machine (Vista on Mac) and try it that way... but it makes my MAC run like shit.

    I was hoping mewtwo would take iniative and just plop this on the server but no. ._.

    We will ask around I guess. Perhaps Hicky could do it.

    In theory... Theory, mind... Not that I'm saying I'll do it, but if push came to shove and nobody was willing etc. etc.... I could get a server, edit it accordingly, then compile it and send it to someone else to run. It'd be a bit of a pain if we wanted to update it for whatever reasons, and we'd still have to find someone to host it, but at least we can get the coding done.

    No, I don't. Pretty much everything I do is a one off. Besides, a little coding project to keep my hand in wouldn't be that much trouble.

    actually, i could make my old laptop a server. i could do it... maybe... need to find it first and wipe it... hardcore style too.

    If this idea is still up in the air, I have a computer I use for hosting several other things on. Dunno if I can forward the ports for it, although I can always just try and find out the dorm's router password.
