I don't know how to feel about this. If this actually comes out... god... all those years of waiting and mockery, wasted. It's Starcraft II all over again...

I've got that "fail" vibe going about Duke Nukem Forever. Maybe not the humor, but Gearbox might not interpret well the original flavor of Duke.

Well, it was fun, but it just didn't 'feel' like Duke to me. Picked it up at Red Box and played through it a bit.

general consensus is that it sucks. i believe general consensus.
I won't argue with that. Felt like Gearbox used it as their cash cow. Even read some stuff on how it was only in development for a year and a half under Gearbox, but it didn't use any of the coding left over from previous work.
