Because they can't translate in a second. And since japan is the irthplace of nintendo and pokemon, naturally pokemon would come out in japanese first.

Why don't you guys just watch the movie in Japanese and subtitled then? That's what I do.

they may get confused with the subtitles and when they talk... they be talking and stop but subtitles will still be going

Pocket Monsters DP Movie 1 still cannot be found anywhere, as the Japanese DVD hasn't been released yet. It's only coming out on 21 December. (It can't be easy to sneak a videocam into Japanese cinemas!)

or AT LEAST make them realease it earlier in the US!!!!

ps if you are tired of waiting for it and u want to know what happens go to serebii.net go under MOVIES and click on DIALGA VS PALKIA VS DARKRAI and read the synopsis and see the pics from the japanese version

Rather than make a new thread I'll just post this here. I just found out that the tenth Pokemon Movie "The Rise of Darkrai" is going to premiere on Cartoon Network Sunday, February 24, at 7:00 (what ever time it's going by) I heard it on Cartoon Network after the DP Episodes showed.
