Pokemon Ruby weird problem?

Ok so i followed the walkthrough on this website and did everything it says but when i get to the part in lilycove where i have to surf up from the beach to the team magma hideout, the cave is sealed shut but the magma team is still there. I talked to an old man in front of a house and he said the cave is shut and the magma team must have gone for good but they are still there blocking my way to the ocean. Please help?

hahaha you see, when i was writing the guide i was kind of mad, so i wrote it in an order that would fuck up your game and cause you to have to reset it. sorry about that.

u rote the guide? is there any way to reverse it in dont wanna restart. also can you give me a link to another LEGIT walkthrough? thx

well im not gonna lie and get your hopes up. despite the fact that i mislead you in my guide, there really are no other pokemon walkthroughs that can compete with a pokedream walkthrough. again, im really sorry, this was done awhile ago and ill make sure to amend it as soon as i possibly can.

is the emerald walkthrough good on this site or is it like the ruby walkthrough?
