alright this might be fucking awesome, but what is this hand held thing. is it actually for the wii.

It's the new controller and also some tie in to their next console.

The screen is for extra things for the game. For this it's the camera, in Zelda it's your inventory and it's your view of the golf ball in golf games etc. It also has the ability to switch from your screen to that. So if someone comes into the room and wants to use the TV, you can continue straight to the controller like a gameboy rather than having to shut down.

Also as far as dumb peripherals go, this is pretty tame. I miss old consoles that weren't so dumb and without KINECT and MOVE, but this is fine by me.
