For the past few days...

When I sat on my apartment living room floor, I have been smelling this awful moldy stench. I was freaking out and pissed like all hell. Well, I found out what it was. The only thing I have not cleaned in my place is this very thing...the dishwasher. It is horrid in there and wreaks. Uh, the people who lived here before me were assholes.

Unless you take out big chunks of food, they come off and collect in the drain. If they rot you do get a smell.

It's all water mold. It's not that fuzzy white mold, it's that black mildewy mold that forms when water sits for a while. Now I have to take care of that this week for a few hours. Mother fucker. If there is one thing I hate most in this world, it's mold smell. bleh.

dishwashers: they collect all the drippings and solids of discarded foods into crusty messes that grow fungi that smell horrendous. if you don't flush the piping out every month or so, it'll start smelling like diarrhea juice on a dead cat.
