Oh wow. You are a very lucky person. Maybe you were in a low crime area, but a running car.. windows down.. Very tempting for theifs. I'd just chalk it up to being lucky.
That or it seemed to a potential car theif like a to good to be true steal and that it was really a bait car, just waiting for somebody to hop in and drive away.

Richmond is a very crime ridden area, especially violent crime but in theft too. You gotta realize though my car looks like a piece of shit. The mexicans living in the trailer park behind my job all have better cars than me.
