    where's a good place to do a bit of unskilled labour where the colleagues are generally tolerable and the work is demanding enough to not make you kill yourself? i don't care about the wages and low wages would suit me fine, I just care about the work environment

    there are record stores. just look in the classifieds. there are literally 4 basic ones in my county alone, not including FYE

    Cafeteria work is menial but gives you enough interesting material to keep from being mind numbing, Record Stores aren't bad... and they do exist, there's several in my area as well... of course it's a college town... Most factory work is pretty terrible... low wages, back breaking labor, and the conversation is pretty much less than stimulating, to say nothing of the obnoxious cowageslave drama...
