Default News from the other side... of the pond

I have acquired a shiny new laptop (which is ever so shiny), and have finally finished transferring everything I wanted from the old one.

    Advantages:
    - Plays games with far less lag!
    - Has Windows 7!
    - Isn't blue!

    Disadvantages:
    - ... Uh...
    - Isn't pink!

Depends if you want performance or battery life. My laptops a dual core AMD with 4gb of RAM, 500gb hdd, HD graphics card (not sure of the make, probably onboard but still powerfull) and it has a nice little expansion slot for a surround sound expansion card. The downside is it's rather bulky and the battery life makes me weep... However for gaming its a BEAST! ^_^

Unless you have nowhere to put a desktop and intend to play games that are a few years old. I'm not running Crysis over here.

Laptops are only good to play games from 2004 and prior.

Anybody could tell you that a laptop's graphics card just can't handle some of the newer games these days.

I don't know about that. I'm having a hard time with some of the game cube games. But I have a HD graphics card. Not one for gaming.
