anyone care to provide me with an update?
anyone care to provide me with an update?
Your choice is hyper offense or full out stall, anything inbetween is terrible and you won't get far.
Sand and good, rain is ok, but predictable. And sun is hard to play, and not played a lot, but because of that, people don't prepare for it and you can wreck them.
Any other questions?
which black and white pokemon are used and why
which old pokemon have new moves that are used
are skarmory, blissey, salemence etc. (the usual pokémon that tend to be used a lot) still used and still dominant forces
are stealth rock, spikes, and poison spikes still used
what is UU, BL, and NU black and white play like
any new mechanics?
i've been living under a rock and might give pokémon another chance
Bulky offense is ok too.
Probably the standard team now:
Tyranitar: Tyranitar
Skarmory / Gliscor: Physical wall
Excadrill / Landorous / Terrakoin / Conkeldurr / Scizor: Physical sweeper
Gastrodon / Jellicent / Tentacruel / Vaporeon: Bulky water
Latias / Thundurus / Rotom-W: special sweeper
Latios / Reunicles / Jirachi: special wall

I really do need to get back into pokemon. I think I'll do something be this winter.
Ferrothorn: bitching wall, and always gets a ton of hazards up
Excadrill: fast as shit sand sweeper
Thundurus: after a nasty plot, 1HKOs most of the metagame, and pretty much only starmie outspeeds it now (because of Exadrill, scarf pokemon are near non-existant)
Reunicles: takes Conkeldurr's hits, calm mind versions takes like any hit and provides a good status taker, and trick room verions can sweep whole teams in the late game
Conkeldurr: super high attack that can kill Excadrill, if you don't have a Reunicles, Gliscor, or Gyrados it will distroy you
Jellicent: the only good spin blocker left, walls rain teams
Terrakoin: not as sexy as Exadrill, but can sweep whole teams too with the right support
Volcanora: quiver dance, after that its like calm mind with a speed boost, if you don't play right your screwed
Haxorous: it has just enough speed and power, to KO most of the walls outright, not even Skarmory and take 2 outrages
Tyranitar: makes sandstorm, and walls Lati@swhich old pokemon have new moves that are used
Scizor: You know scizor, and it also can wall Lati@s
Politoed: sets up rain, and can sweep with it to
Latios: scecs draco meteor rapes anything not named Tyranitar, Jirachi, and Scizor
Gliscor: walls excadrill, among other things
Rotom-W: became water-electic, allowing it to sweep a lot of walls that exist
Dragonite: muli-scale makes it impossible to kill outright, and always gets a dragon dance up
Heatran: for killing skarmory and Jirachi
Jirachi: deals with Lati@s, synergy wise it also fits into most teams
Skarmory: walls Exadrill
Gengar: absorbs earthquakes and fighting hits, useful in the metagame, also the sub-disable sets are amazingly annoying, and its the only ghost / psychic pokemon that kills Tyranitar (focus blast)
Starmie: pretty much the fastest thing out there (aside from Exadrill), and like rotom its coverage allows it to sweep most walls
Magnezone: kills Skamory and Jirachi, allowing excadrill or Latias to sweep
Gyrados: the alternative physical wall
Blissey: still the best special wall in the game, even if its 2HKOed by Politoed
Infernape: much like last gen, with the right movepool it can sweep any team, mach punch for exacdrill too, also works on sun teams
Ninetails: sets up sun, thats it though
Espeon: magic bounce allows it to be the new psuedo rapid spinner, and its immune from roar meaning it can just get up calm minds and pass it on all it wants
Forretress: rapid spining
Salamence: mixed versions can be tricky, thats the only reason its used to be honest
Vaporeon: takes water hits and can wish pass
Skarmory is still common, blissey is falling in useage though because it can't actually do much, and Salamence is like the new electrivire because only noobs use it becuase dragonite honestly outclasses it.are skarmory, blissey, salemence etc. (the usual pokémon that tend to be
used a lot) still used and still dominant forces
Steakth rocks is falling is useage, while spikes is much more common now. Also toxic spikes can be found by Tentacruel which appears every now and then.are stealth rock, spikes, and poison spikes still used
UU is like the over range of UU and the lower range of OU of last gen combined, it has pokemon like Snorlax and Zapdos mixed with Hitmontop and Donphan.what is UU, BL, and NU black and white play like
NU doesn't exist just yet, but RU does. RU is the lower range UU pokemon like Lanturn and Blastiose.
No but new moves, abilities, and iteams. There is a bunch, ask me about them as you find them.any new mechanics?
The only new mechanic the come to mind is that rest is now 3 turns, and sleep and toxic don't reset when you switch out.
i've been living under a rock and might give pokémon another chance[/QUOTE]
i think you misinterpreted my second question, I meant do any of the old Pokémon have new moves which has made them good.
and what the hell Politoed is used.
and Ninetales.
Politoed and Ninetales are OU then?
Politoed got drizzle and ninetials for drought. There movepool hasn't actually changed.
And quiver dance explains Volcanora, it increases speed, special attack, and special defense all in one move.
Dragonite got multi-scale which makes it nuetral to super effective hits if its at 100% health.
Espeon got magic bounce, which reflects back hazards, and toxic, and thunderwave, and basically any status move that goes outward.
Excadrill has sand rush which doubles its speed in the sand.
Ah yes, growth now boosts your special attack and attack, and in the sun it doubly boosts them both. But thats only important if you are using Venusaur.
I will post random things as I think of them.

why should it boost both. I'm sorry I'm really out of the loop but at the same time I don't like pokemon like Blastiose being UU. I just want to play a normal game.
what's going on on shoddy, I left it for a while. is it dead?
maybe I should start a Black and White gym league or something
It just does.
You play it on pokemon online, I don't know why shoddy died, here is the link anyway:
http://www.pokemon-online.eu/
Also, in the new games before you start a battle you get to see the other man's team, and move around your pokemon even too.
Because of this the lead metagame is virtually dead, that and ferrothorn is perfectly capable of setting up spikes later on.
kirbz you play po?thats great lol that is true it is offense or stall now.
it always seems imposible until it's done-nelson mandella
a house divided agaisnt itself cannot stand-abraham lincoln
gotta catch'em all-pokemon
