That's the best way to travel, IMO.
Spend as much time as you want in each place and really get to know it- it doesn't only have to be about tourist spots and landmarks.

I've been to Amsterdam and I've seen very little of Paris. When I go to places I like experiences rather than the joy of actually travelling. So yeah, currently I've seen a bit of Europe and that's about it.
I do want to travel the world some day to pleasant as well as unpleasant parts and I definitely want to get a job in a strange city at some point.

I've got a job and otherwise other people pay for me to live so I can save up for things like trips, I won't be going to the finest restaurants or anything or staying anywhere nice
What I mean is I've got a job and nobody has turned around to me yet and said "Sam I think you should buy your own food now you've got a job"
