Someone will tell you something similar to this "I'm gonna tell you this if you promise not to get mad". It's either that, or started with "no offense, but" or followed by "no offense" or "just kidding" or anything else like that. If you THINK it might piss someone off, or you don't know how they'll handle it, then don't say it. Easy no? Apparently not. The amount of times people follow with "just kidding" or "no offense" then expecting, yes EXPECTING, that the statement of potentially inducing anger is no longer that serious is a staggering percentage. By you saying jk, that doesn't mean what you just said didn't happen. You can't get away with it by saying that, it's just a speaking trick you use to fool your brain into thinking that you were only kidding, so don't feel guilty. I spit on you fuckers. Don't sugar coat things, but you have to don't you? Yea, when i get mad or ask a question, then you give me some out the ass excuse to make yourself feel better, the world is perfect again. Let's ignore the facts some more so you can sleep guilt free.

Oh my god I have a friend that burns me for being "rude" and then gets tons of respect for it.
He's called "Josh" (overused name, at least I'm called SAMSON ffs) and I'd be doing something major or important that doesn't involve him. I'd then do something his fucked up brain interprets as out of order and he'd call it rude and then that would take me back a notch. It's difficult to explain in theory.
