The latest episode, 5, wasn't all that great to be honest. They were pushing the whole love plot WAY too much. Aang and Katara's love seemed to flow and happen, Mako and Korra are like being forced into it and the whole double love triangle was HORRID. I mean seriously, this is not a teen sitcom and this episode literally was juts about them trying to "figure things out." The characters were paper thin and felt so fake I wanted to vomit. I mean, the whole Pro Bending competition was cool and all but those scenes are no longer than 2 minutes for each match making the rest of the episode just a lame uneventful dialogue. The only redeeming value of this episode was that fact that it lent itself to good face swaps, enjoy.

its um... ok? its just another headstrong avatar whos on a quest of discovery. nothing new, and nothing that captures the class struggle correctly.

its just not a great show from the first 5 or so episodes.

After the fire nation gave up on taking over the world. Ang set up sort of a united nation city called Republic city, which has grown large in the past 70 years. The cities government is controlled by a council of benders from each nation, fire, earth, air, northern water tribe, and southern water tribe. No in effect regular non benders have little to no voice in the government of avatar, and overall the government is kinda wack, I like Tenzin enough, but he has one vote in the council and there are 4, count them, 4 air benders. Also having basically super powers, bender often manipulate and trample on non benders. No make matters worse chi-blocking has been made illegal (it blocks bending for a short time) and bending government squads raid chi-blocker houses for simply teaching the method.

Yo it is a possibility. Eitherway Tarlok has been around for a while I think and is actually mad fucking old and no one knows because he uses his water bending powers to heel himself and makes him live longer. Also after thinking about it I kind of am laughing at the whole premise that Tarlok is just randoming driving Korra is that satimobile. I'm all like wtf is he thinking driving some bum ass car all serious likewise with the avatar, just can't take that seriously.
