Do people eat Pokemon?

After arguing with that Lord Zangoose about how awfully horrid serebii was, I mentioned this topic by accident. I thought it would be interesting to see the comments of the people here about it. Yup, yup, it's freakingly contradictory that I formed the very topic that I depise serebii for, but I'm hardly running a popularity contest here. Anyway, here it is:


DO PEOPLE IN THE POKEMON WORLD EAT POKEMON?


Arguement: Pokemon are the equavilent of animals in out world-if we eat animals, then people in the pokemon world eat pokemon, because they hardly can ALL be vegetarians. Certainly what Ash's mom cooks for him whenever he goes home is NOT a plate of slimy wet cabbages. It is a suspicously meat-like looking dish, in which the origins of the meat are unknown.


So............Discuss.


Plus as a side thing I've come up with some suitable pokemon dishes.


Pidgey wings
Roast Milktank
Fried Huntail (for people in foreign countries)
Tauros Chop
Boiled Goldeen
Chilli Krabby
Grumpig trotters
Pikachu pie

Feebas Fillet will be freakingly expensive. You need a LIFETIME to get a feebas, let alone cook it. I guess it equals abalone in rarity or something. Or caviar.

I also remember in one of the Indigo League episodes-- I think when they were on the St. Anne-- Team Rocket wanted to eat James's Magikarp.
