PD clan for pokemon Diamond/ Pearl

Any of you guys started deciding on what pokemon you will use? Still trying to decide here.

i use purely offensive(sp?) pokemon. i don't normally aim for decent tactics. as for type, you'll need to find out what works best for you. i use mainly fire and it works for me.

Argh, it's haaaaaaaard. For me I consider every single pokemon I want for my team very carefully, go flipping through the guidebook and everything, and plan how to train it from level 5 to lv 100 personally. I practically plan it's whole growth even before the egg hatches. (I breed every pokemon specially. ) Hopefully I'll get done soon, then I'll post it in the Competitive workshop for everyone to tear apart.


Oh yeah, just for interest, what will be your wifi display name? I was thinking about

No prob, you gotta thank Hicky. Well, nothing to do now but sit around and wait for d/p to come out.........and plan your teams too, of course. Go PD clan! We will rule the wifi world. (As well as defeat Team NMG. Would you team members mind if I declared Team NMG as big time rivals? That dude is seriously pissing me off.)

There's no point in minor people being rivals, because minor clans will be defeated pretty easily. I, personally, have a huge hatred for Smogon and I would like to see the big bosses of Pokémon defeated.

But they can be huge rivals. It's your clan.

It's not my clan. It's everyone's clan, cos I don't think that I'm that capable of being a leader. Either we al vote who's the leader, or have no leader at all, because my leadership skills really suck.

Ninetails 009 officially got her pokemon Diamond at 6.30 p.m exactly. Along with the preordered diamond came a Dialgia and palkia stylus. Now, Ninetails 009's Piplup is lv 15.


YES! CELEBRATE FOR ME! But don't worry, Hicky, I've given you an honour in my game-I've named the rival after you. I'll take a piccy of me battling 'Hicky' sometimes and post it here.


But now I've got my Diamond confiscated until I finish my homework. Meh.

No prob. I couldn't think of what else to name the rival, and the default names were kinda yucky. But now I feel guilty whenever I battle the rival cos I know I would never defeat you in real life.

Anyways, I've just discovered an interesting option. There are '4 player battles' now for wifi. You team up with another player through wifi, and both send out 2 pokemon each against another 2 players. I guess clan members must share their teams with each other and discuss strategies if we want to battle in this mode.


There's also another new option in wifi. You use 3 pokemon, then you pick 1 pokemon from your opponent's team and he picks one out of yours. So you have 2 of your own and 1 of his. Interesting..........


But something's pissing me off now. The people in the game keep telling me how to capture pokemon and stuff, and I just want to yell at them "BUZZ OFF COS I'LL TOTALLY OWN YOU!!!". Someting like that. Those NPCs treat me like an idiot n00b.

Ignore them. They don't realize your talent to become the best Pokémon trainer the world has seen!

I don't think that the guide's come out in english yet. I've been searching everywhere and so far I've drawn a blank. Give Nintendo power a few weeks and it'll be out.


Oh, and I don't think it's suitable for you to name the rival 'Ninetails 009' or anything like that. He's gonna be a boy, and I don't think that I want to change genders. Besides, I think that it'll be weird for a person to be named after a pokemon. I compensated 'God' for a while (plus 'Fullmetal' was too long) but I didn't find it nice (your rival, a god? No way.) Hurray for Hicky!
