Perhaps pants or Max might be able to help me out.
Jake (Politoed) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 196 HP / 252 SDef / 60 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Scald
- Perish Song
- Toxic
- Protect
A standard defensive politoed, it's just here to stay around and keep the rain up. Scald is very useful to burn things which normally would be a pain in the ass, perish song to phase, toxic to stall, and protect to give is durability and said in stalling. The evs make it specially defensive to take a few of those hits if Chansey is down. 60 speed outspeeds the standard heatran. Perish song has been of less use since I added Dragonite, but it still has it's uses, but what would I replace it with, icebeam? Occasionally I use this to go against Gliscor, it fairs well but I am thinking off tossing in a few defense evs to take those hits better.
Bubblegum (Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Def / 140 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
My little bitch, mother fucking care takes hits from Landorus. Basically she has 2 jobs, take almost all special attackers and stall them out, and support my team with wish. Due to the more stally nature of my team, protect is more useful than softboiled. The evs make sure I always take 2 psycho-shocks from specs Latios, the rest is dumped into special defense.
Marceline (Dusclops) (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Night Shade
- Will-O-Wisp
Rapid spinners cry when they see her. He also performs as a physical wall for my team, which is why she has maximum defense. Willow-wisp over toxic because I have enough of that anyway, and again burns are very useful against steel types. I still have to test out pain split Dusclops over rest talk, I might do so since recently rest has disappointed me too often.
LSP (Forretress) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
It spins and set up toxic spikes and stealth rocks all in one, plus it can act as an emergency physical wall, that is exactly why it is here.
Ice King (Dragonite) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Roost
- Dragon Tail
- Hurricane
- Thunder
Anything that can manage to slip through the fat ass of Chansey is quickly destroyed by Dragonite. It also picks off a few other weaknesses like Breloom.
Finn (Gliscor) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 208 Def / 56 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Toxic
- Taunt
Its the top physical wall that solves most of my threats left for this team.
I don't know why, but this team isn't doing so hot. Politoed, Chansey, and Dragonite are pretty much fixed parts of the team, so don't mess with them unless you got something really revolutionary. I don't like Forretress here, but its my only way to get hazards up and spinning without using up many of my remaining stops. Dusclops isn't exactly the best choice, but I would REALLY like to keep it on this team, I would be willing to move around this team a lot in order to keep it on. It's just not working then whatever, I am willing to ditch it for something else if I have to, I was thinking Gyarados. Gliscor is the one I am willing to change the most, but it seems to do well right now.
Any small comments are also appreciated too.
