    Mostly because he's fun. He was an actor while still being a very far right conservative, while he was conservative he still did quite a bit to help the gays out in california. His tenure as president marked the end of the cold war. Wether he was a good president is debatable, but he's interesting regardless.

    As far as my knowledge as a European outsider goes, he seems like the benchmark and revivalist of far-right conservatives, thereby dragging the movement out of its grave over and over again and not letting it die with his name single-handedly. That's a pretty deplorable thing, if you ignore his actual presidency and his ignoring of the AIDS crisis, meaning the U.S.A. has third-world AIDS rates, and his failed tax agenda which increased the debt threefold
