really stupid. we spend a lot of time in English studying "feminism" and its just women overanalysing pieces of literature because they accidentally conform to gender stereotypes. useless over-analysis and currently my most loathed ideology.

Modern feminism is dumb, though historically it was a good cause to strive for.

However, there will never be true equality between the sexes.

old feminism as in emancipation, suffrage, being viable members of the job market was fine, but feminists dominate English circles and spend their time underlining sections of great English classics because it reflects some sort of gender disparity or stereotype.

yeah its pretty silly. we're still in a patriarchal society i guess but effectively women have all the rights as men and are in just about an equal position to succeed/do whatever they want with their lives. now is basically just complaining.

Idk I see no reason why not to keep pushing forward, there is still plenty of sexism going on. Yes sometimes it gets out of hand as far as lawsuits go. But those are usually the exceptions to the general case in which there is legit sexism going on.
