North, south. Long ago, Korea lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the imperialists attacked. Only the Dictator, master of all forms of papaganda, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he died. A hundred years passed pokedream and and I discovered the new Dictator, a North Korean named Kim Jong-un. And although his obesity is great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to dictate anyone. But I believe Kim Jong-un can save the world.

just watched it out of curiosity, I liked the WW1 feel to the clothing and tech, but the characters didn't really reach me

I liked Lin, Amon, and Tenzin's kids more then the main characters. The serious late teen cheating relationships dynamic is not for me.

The whole love story took so much time away from actually developing the characters.

The finale wasn't so good :/ I had so many issues with it.

"How we gonna end it...I got it, let's just blow weveryone up in a boat. The End." what the fuck, is THAT what happened to Zuko's mom? And furthermore, did Iro have another child in his old age because general Iro in Korra refers to the old Iro as grandfather. Unless Zuko lied to him saying that Iro was his real father and not telling him about Ozai.

well im sure the kid knew iron was zuko's uncle, but obviously iroh was going to be LIKE a grandfather to him, and what was he going to call him, "grand uncle"?

He is Zuko's grandson. Old Iroh was more of a father to Zuko anyway.

If it was Zuko's grandson then Iroh would be his great uncle or something and thus would be is great grandfather, not grandfather. So, General Iroh might be Zuko's son.

    "

The penultimate episode had the surprise appearance of General Iroh. What can you tell us about him? Are we going to see more of him in the future?

DiMartino: Yeah, he’s in the finale. Just so we’re clear—he’s Zuko’s grandson, not his son. I think there was some speculation about whether he was his son or grandson. It is his grandson. He’s voiced by Dante Basco. The idea behind him was to have a swashbuckling hero-type guy. He’s the youngest general in the United Forces which is kind of the U.N. of the “Avatar” world now. We just thought it would be a fun way to tie in the legacy of Zuko without having Zuko be present there.

But it doesn't make any sense why he would refer to Iroh as a grandfather.

Uhhhhhhh. Re-watching the scene General Iroh just says, "My grandfather would go with the Avatars instinct." So I SUPPOSE he is referring to Zuko.
