Well, I open my eyes and I see things. I've seen spirits moving through the walls. I've seen a vortex coming through the wall. I've seen amorphous little balls of light bouncing all around in the front yard through the window. I've seen giant bugs on the floor. Then I'll wake up and I go "Wow, I was standing on my bed and staring at this wall."

doo wop sort of stuff is pretty much consistently pretty good
rap is reasonably consistent, bad rap isnt nearly as bad as bad rock etc.
the genre which is the best AT its best is of course classical music but that shouldnt even count. same for jazz really.
eh jazz has a better shot for counting, its much closer to 'popular' music styles than classical is. so i'll give best genre to jazz.
rap is at the worst mediocre, but I like classic-rock better
