The rest loans. I still max out all my loans and special Major loans because I don't care to work fulltime. So all and all I get $7,700 more to just play with a year.

Publish papers, present original research at conferences in private universities, be the top pupil in all your major classes, have Ivy League Ph.Ds not only know of you, but like you and your research and studying abroad at lest once doesn't hurt either. Write all that down to your university and wait for the money. My EFC is 0 though so playing the poor card works too.

Honestly though it isn't "hard" in the strict sense. It IS time consuming to be able to set yourself up for all this. I mean, God hasn't done this and he is arguably smarter than me in various ways. Why doesn't he have what I have in regards to my accolades? Well one thing is he is a math based major that isn't ALL about writing and also, it is time consuming. And let's face it God, you get depressed a lot and don't do things because of it thus not letting these things consume your time but rather letting things like books, porn and torrents do that. haha You were at my conferences though, I will remember that. haha

I do not explicitly say your name on the title page because if I did I would have to for the 6+ other people who looked at it so it's not normal to do that for the type of paper I wrote. I have not written an acknowledgment paragraph either because they did not want it when they published it. I WILL say that I DO mention your name to others when I talk about it in a formal setting so I don't forget you. And you are more then welcome to cite my name in an academic setting and my paper. If they need proof you helped then I will write a letter of reference, that is how it is usually done. Of course this is if you think my paper and my name has any clout, of course I have my misgivings on my own abilities and works, but others see them in a positive light often. I'm just one of those types of guys I suppose.

My credit union apparently hands out $2,500 yearly scholarships for members, but you have to write an essay and it has to be accepted. Retarded as it sounds, I want that one only because then I'll be able to say my fucking bank is paying me to go to college. Just to rub it in their face I'd shove $2,500 in my savings account every time it's awarded and make them pay me interest on it.
Realistically I'd probably never earn it, but I want it nonetheless. I'll be actively pursuing it next semester.

I've always been a fan of footnotes. House of Leaves did it because it was a confusing and poorly organized piece of mindfuck and it made the entire thing managable. Wikipedia does it because hotlinks are the shit. I wish I could do it because adding 2 authors names plus ET AL after a cited source is so long and broken it's jarring and completely takes your mind off whatever the fuck you're reading.
