Celery how could you sell out your beliefs by going to an "economics" class.
Celery how could you sell out your beliefs by going to an "economics" class.

A) Mandatory B) To argue with people
should of gone up to the dean of the school and said
"This schedule is outrageous, how can you make it mandatory for someone to be brainwashed into the belief of success of this faulty free market system."
and punched the desk in rage, leaving an imprint on it in the shape of your fist

Do highschools have deans?
also my economics professor today said he would be focusing exclusively on free market systems because 'socialism is dying out'

Economics professors are pretty uneducated.
"I prefer a sane world where you are rewarded by providing people with something they want. Not arbitrarily rewarded in a status game that reminds me of chimpanzees." - nazgulnarsil
Here I am with my empire
I’ll bring you to your knees
Ebb and flow with my desire
Cause its all that you’ve been taught to be
Am I the only person on PD who has not and will not take an economics course? I mean, I may choose to in the future, but I don't dig it really.
im wetting my feet. if i like it enough i might attempt to pursue a double major.
Lol, "socialism dying out."
How can a high school require economics...
I took small business management, I mean play video games and doodle the whole class class.
It just seems like most courses in economics will be biased based on the professor own opinion on the topic.![]()
I should become an economics professor.
Mine did. It was stupidly easy so me and my three friends played Magic the Gathering in the corner trying to get kicked out because we hated the teacher. Only the guys got kicked out, he was sexist against guys I guess.
The only redeeming factor of that teacher was that he gave out candy if you got an A on a test, so I got free candy every friday.
I remember I got an A in small business, I just hanged in the work that took me less than 5 minutes. By the end of the class the only people not asleep were me and my friend. The only person in the class with a higher grade, worked for 10 minutes and then left.

Honestly just do it if you like it and don't worry to much about how much time and effort it will take. I am graduating with 190+ credits or the equivalent of 3 majors in 5 years when it takes most 4 to get done 120. It's doable and really a smart way of going about things and being marketable.
its a pretty even split really
