    No kangaroo rats and mice are not directly related to rats and mice despite their name. Its similar to the reason why Tentacruel and tentacoo are in entirely diferent groups, biologically they are diferent, despite their similar appearance and even ancestor (although ironcally Tentacruel and Tenacool are more diferent than them, its like comparing frogs to squirels). Mice is also the generic name to rats and mice (if you think I ment Kangaroo Rats AND mice, sorry).

    Slowpoke and slowking have more of a weasel shape, especially slowpoke, I could put slowbro in the hippo family though.

    I was wondering why sandshrew wasn't in the shrew group before I found it in pangolins.

    Yeah sandshrew ain't no shrew, its a special ancient mammal that is in it's own group, consider it the monotremes of the placental mammals.
