I'm going to ESU to save money. I don't even have to pay for breakfast or dinner.

I guess is if the rent is to high, so you can't even eat breakfast lunch and dinner.
I don't have to pay for rent either. I'm going to live at my house.
sorry but i dont get these well-off middle class type kids who have opportunities but no ambition to do anything
i don't even so much mean well off as in parents can pay for better schools etc. i also mean if you're generally acclimated enough to the school system to have done well throughout high school and have motivation to put in effort and not totally fucked over by the system, why not just go head and take all AP classes or whatever for a chance to get into a top tier university. i mean if you give enough of a shit to get Bs and As in regular classes, you might as well give enough of a shit to do the same in AP/accelerated/whatever classes.
i dunno, i guess i have a sort of 'all or nothing' mentality when it comes to high school performance. if i had any inclination toward giving a shit about high school (or middle school, etc) im sure i would have wanted to be in the most advanced classes to get into the best universities. but i didn't give ANY shit so did literally nothing.
I did AP classes for the hell of it. Didn't even care about going to a 'top tier' university.
I just have this theory that being in crushing debt is a bad thing so I try and avoid it.
if you do well enough theyll pay you to attend
Yes, but that requires a serious amount of effort, and it is still usually more expensive than the state or community collages. Plus ESU is great for my major.
My parents nor I can afford college. And I have work my job to pay my bills. I don't get off until 8 pm some nights and I don't get a set schedule. And online courses are wayyy too much even with FASFA and grants.

I'm lucky education is so cheap in Canada, especially in Quebec. It's only a 4000 a year to go to some of the best universities in the world. I find it so ridiculous though that students here have been on strike for months against the university fee increase the government proposed, which led to an election, which led to what most Anglo-Quebecers consider the female Hitler to get elected.
But otherwise yeah education is a real privilege. Right now I'm in CEGEP studying health science and I have to apply to university this year which is so so stressful because I haven't got a clue about what I want to study. Also, I'm forced to take Waves and Optics for my program which is a real bitch. Not to mention my teacher sucks. I just finished my first set of midterms yesterday, I slept fourteen hours last night to recover. And that's only the beginning, which is definitely disheartening.
