Default The second set of 10 commandements

These are the commandments mosses apparently wrote down himself after he destroyed the first set

    1. Thou shalt worship no other god (For the Lord is a jealous god).
    2. Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.
    3. The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep in the month when the ear is on the corn.
    4. All the first-born are mine.
    5. Six days shalt thou work, but on the seventh thou shalt rest.
    6. Thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, even of the first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
    7. Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread.
    8. The fat of my feast shall not remain all night until the morning.
    9. The first of the first fruits of thy ground thou shalt bring unto the house of the Lord thy God.
    10. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in its mother's milk.

So remember kids, don't make blood sacrifices with flat bread, use all the fat when cooking, and don't even think about boiling a baby goat in its mother's milk.

btw, this is what's supposedly on the lost 10 commandments tablets, like the one's they search for in Indiana Jones

the knowledge of not boiling a baby goat in milk melted the Nazis lol

For some reason that commandment translates to never having milk and meat products in the same meal. It sucks.

oh how this is stupid. i changed my diet for my religious beliefs to become one of the highest priest possible in my wiccan religion... but decided that all together, religion didn't work well with my atheist attitude. i was vegetarian for 6 months before i actually stopped.

Probably something in the original translation, almost all the english translations mention goats. There are also cross references to this in Deuteronomy.

when the kjb was translated originally it already intentionally used archaic language
"I'll go," said Chagataev. "But what will I do there? Build socialism?"
    "What else?" said the secretary.

Most Bibles translations are built in with flowery language on purpose. This was the same era that Shakespeare was in, they wanted the bible to be poetic, they put that into it.

If you do a direct translation, most of the bible is outright laughable in its grammar and phrasing even if you do a correct translation.

So according to this, the meal god hates the most would be a rare, low fat, goat meat burrito with melted goat cheese.

That actually sounds pretty good, I have to make it now.
