Also, for all the Doctor Who fans here (Andrew, Pichubro) I have a question. A lot of new age Whovians complain when people call him "Doctor Who" as his name. But my father, a whovian from childhood, calls him adamantly Doctor Who. I remember my sister one time got snappy and said "his name isn't Doctor Who." But if you watch the old series, plenty of non-companions really do call him Doctor Who, and it is a running gag, unlike in the new series, that when people ask his name they go "Doctor Who?" So who is really right here? Can you really blame my father for growing up with different Doctors?

It's like old school Trekkies vs Trekkers. "Doctor Who" is usually used by the extreme ends of the fan spectrum, basically by people who only watched the old series and those who just started watching the new series. Everyone else pretty much calls him just Doctor. It doesn't bother me too much, like when people argue Companion vs. Assistant.
