Default how often does this happen to you

you take a test, either can't get one question or can only solve it in a roundabout, might be valid but maybe not, method. and then LITERALLY as you walk out the door a completely correct, simpler solution immediately occurs to you.

    "What else?" said the secretary.

i think im a bad test taker. i mean, i still tend to do WELL on test but not as well as i should. every time i cant figure out a question on a test, i almost immediately figure it out after i leave the room just like walking down the hall or something. maybe this just happens to everyone.

its annoying. for part of the question i had to prove that a^(lnb) = b^(lna). i did it in a way that is PROBABLY valid but convoluted and my professor may or may not give full points for it. but there's really an absurdly simpler solution, i only had to like stop half way in what i was doing and do one thing different (that i actually did later in a more round about way) and it would've been fine.

also thinking about it more i think my solution to the other problem i was worried about might have been just fine, just a little less succinctly stated.

I do better on tests than I should, so I rarely get this.

I usually feel confident about a test, and then I get it back and I barely passed because I made so many mistakes. Like misplaced positive/negative signs and adding/subtracting wrong.

Do you ever get problems wrong because you ever think to much? This usually happens to me in science, since I know other theories and stuff that does not pertain to the class.

Not immediately after, but I solve problems in my sleep or something. If I have a hard time solving something in an exam and end up leaving it, or getting some weird answer that I know is not the answer or whatever... I feel bad about it for the rest of the day, go to sleep and get up in the morning thinking about it and know exactly how to solve it.
