pretty fun for 20 minutes or so
all tha happens for me is everything disappears
did you use the automatic cluster? you pretty much automatically create a solar system (although its pretty unstable because 95% of the time you get 2 large object orbiting each other as the center of gravity, after about 30 minutes all the planets get whipped out of orbit)
its hilarious because the few times I got one sun, it turned out to be really boring because the solar system is almost to stable and it was boring
my favorite method is to make a cluster, then make a OMG class object off to the side making the entire system accelerate in that direction, then I delete the OMG and place another one in a location perpendicular to it, that way you get the entire system orbiting the OMG, you get crazy shit like tiny things orbiting medium sized objects orbiting large objects orbiting the OMG
yeah most of the other particles are either colliding into each other or into the stars, but the binary system is remarkably stable.
its pretty cool. i got a binary star system with a bunch of smaller particles going in fucked up orbits around one or both the stars.
really? i didnt know that. thats fascinating.
well after doing some research it seems that most stars are actually single star systems but most stars visible in the night sky are binary/multiple systems because they are on average much brighter than lone stars. less fascinating but still kinda cool.

So, many systems used to be binary systems but they ended up merging into one.
