how depressing
how depressing

Saw that a few months ago. I had the same sentiment. Gone are the days of yahoo chat boards where I once held a girl named Mena deep in my heart and MSN messaging where Eve and I (we were the first PD members to do so btws: you are a poser God) really connected on in our long chats.

Yeah bit he's a cool fag like Freddie Mercury.
Oh well. Never used it anyway.

the internet becoming big business was definitely the worst thing that could happen
you guys sound like hipsters xP
I've never even used the internet before 2006.
2007 seems like the tipping point toward the VULGARIZATION of the internet
You people are so hipster you are complaining that hipsters are the mainstream ones. That's like hipster-ception.
I feel like a hipster youtuber because I used it back in 2005 and remember when it had a "who's online" list. You also could not directly reply to comments and the comments overall were less stupid.
The best I remember of the internet at that time is online disney games, finding images of the lunar cycles, and taking online tests for school.
comcast was a whole different thing, i hated it at first.
aol DID have a pretty decent interface

i dont remember ever being anti aol. maybe hating on aim but aim isnt aol.
they are!! aol was the internet. aim was a separate messenger application.
I was using the internet in 2002 to play flash games.
I'm so hip and rad!
